About Ryan Finley

Ryan Finley is the founder of Freedom Financial Services Group and a financial professional with a passion for helping people feel confident and secure during one of life’s most challenging transitions.
With more than a decade of experience, Ryan has worked with clients and attorneys across Tennessee to provide comprehensive divorce financial analysis, expert asset valuation, and simple mediation services. His approach is calm, clear, and always focused on delivering practical, accurate financial insight—so you’re never left guessing about your next move.

Mr. Finley has over 35 years of experience in divorce and real estate analysis, business valuations, financing, and accounting. He is most proud of his work walking alongside clients and their attorneys to prepare for their next best life after divorce.
Before launching Freedom Financial Services Group, Mr. Finley served as Controller and Chief Financial Officer for several large Nashville Area developers in the residential real estate and commercial construction industries. He was responsible for the accounting, financing, cost allocations, taxes, and financial reporting for theses companies and affiliates.
In addition, Mr. Finley worked as a Senior Associate for the Real Estate and Hospitality valuation and consulting firm Economic Research Associates (ERA). At ERA, he specialized in golf, resort, hotel, and residential communities in which he performed economic, feasibility, market, valuation, and proforma studies for projects all over the United States.
Prior to Economic Research Associates, Mr. Finley spent over 10 years working with billion dollar company, ClubCorp, serving numerous positions from Controller to Senior Financial Analyst to Project Manager. He worked primarily in the New Business Development department of ClubCorp. His responsibilities included: financial analysis, due diligence, valuation, acquisitions, and operational accounting transition. He led and participated in the acquisitions of over 40 private golf clubs, resorts, and public golf courses. The ClubCorp portfolio included trophy properties such as: Pinehurst, Barton Creek, Mission Hills, Firestone, and Indian Wells Country Clubs. One of his biggest accomplishments was his role in the purchase of Cobblestone Golf Company, a $300 million dollar golf course portfolio acquisition.
Mr. Finley started his career at Ernst & Young after graduating from Oklahoma State University with a degree in Accounting.
